Indian Diaspora means people of Indian origin. The majority of Canadians of Indian origin live in Vancouver or Toronto. The population of Indians (From India) in Metro Vancouver is growing. Lots of IT professionals and other professionals from India are choosing Vancouver as their new home.

People of Indian descent are a rising force in Canada. Indians have been coming to Vancouver since 19th century. Many people are unware that the dynamic modern-day prophet from India, Swami Vivekananda, arrived in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, aboard the Canadian Pacific Liner, Empress of India on 25 July 1893.

ICA Vancouver has been serving the Indian Diaspora for several years in Metro Vancouver now. We organize various socio-cultural events throughout the year which helps Indian Diaspora in Vancouver coming together and building greater bonds. Our events are helping the Indian Diaspora to stay connected with their roots while accepting the new city Vancouver as their new home.

Our founder Neeraj Kumar is always looking for ways to provide a platform to the Indian Community in Vancouver to connect with each other and help newcomers from India in Vancouver. He also organizes various professional meetups for the Indian Community members.
