Namaste Canada is an annual cultural event hosted by Consulate General of India (CGI), Vancouver and more than 30 groups across Metro Vancouver joins to perform. ICA Vancouver is going to be one of the volunteer cultural associations aiming to take part in Namaste Canada 2025 event. This year Namaste Canada is taking place on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

Come & celebrate International Day of Yoga 2025 with us at David Lam Park in Vancouver. The event is organized by the Consulate General Of India (CGI), Vancouver. Along with many cultural associations & community groups India Cultural Association (ICA) Of Vancouver is also going to support the International Day of Yoga Celebrations in Vancouver.

As part of public engagement opportunities provided by the Province, ICA Vancouver is hosting this public engagement sessions in order to take the public inputs & opinion on certain questions. We would explore some of the questions via community engagement sessions such as:
1) What should be the name of this museum or cultural centre?
2) Where should it be located?
3) What kind of space should it be?
We are glad that the Province of BC has taken an initiative to make a museum or a cultural centre for the Canadians of South Asian Heritage in BC.
This is going to be the first of its kind in Canada, the Museum or Cultural Centre which will aim to reflect the diversity of the South Asian Canadian diaspora in BC – its history, heritage, arts, culture and languages.
Sangeet means music, Nritya Means Dance, Sajeevana means lively or vibrant. As the name suggests it is going to be a very lively & a vibrant evening of Indian Music & Dance!

This Garba event is for 3 days (Oct 7 – Oct 9, 2022) but members of our group are planning to go for Navratri Garba Night on Saturday, October 8, 2022. Garba starts around 8pm and end around mid night. Kids under 10 are Free.
