To promote and preserve the cultural heritage of India, In association with Consulate General of India, the Hindi Literary Society of Canada is organizing the annual Hindi Lok Mahotsav – Folk Festival. Last year’s event was a great success, and plans are under-way to make this year’s Hindi Lok Mahotsav even better. You’ll enjoy folk dance, folk songs, Indian food and various other activities while at the same time to be part of a cultural treat.
Tickets are only CAD $25 each or CAD $180 for a block of 8 tickets. A limited number of tickets are available, so it’s important for you to place your order right away and contribute to a noble cause since part of the proceedings will go to BC Wildfire Rescue. You won’t want to miss this year’s Hindi Lok Mahotsav.
India Cultural Association (ICA) of Vancouver will be bringing Rangeelo Rajasthan at the event. ICA Group will perform Kalbelia Folk Dance of Rajasthan. Please view the trailer of ICA’s Kalbelia Dance on YouTube:
